Challenge
Companies under growing ESG and regulatory pressure need to measure emissions across their entire value chain, but most tools stop at spreadsheets or only cover a company's own footprint. ECONOS needed a platform that could handle Scope 1/2/3 accounting, pull real data straight out of invoices, and connect corporates to their suppliers — all usable by people who aren't carbon-accounting experts.
Ansatz
We built AVA as a role-based SaaS platform: corporates and suppliers each get tailored dashboards, admins invite teams and assign projects, and emissions get logged three ways — manual entry, OCR invoice upload, or CSV bulk import. A value-chain system lets corporates generate supply-chain codes, connect suppliers, and roll their partners' data into a single Scope 3 picture. Every calculation maps to the GHG Protocol's three scopes and reports in tCO2e, with an AI assistant to guide users through the framework.
Ergebnis
ECONOS launched a platform that turns emissions accounting from a consultant-led project into a self-serve product — organizations track their footprint, invite suppliers into their supply chain, and generate GHG reports without leaving the app. The platform lives behind a login, so this case study runs on the numbers rather than screenshots.
